The Challenge
Oxford Global Resources started a partnership with a multinational pharmaceutical company in 2018. Over the years, due to the quality outcomes our teams have delivered, the client decided to make us an exclusive partner dedicated to supporting and guiding all medical education services across the organization, including the provision of a comprehensive service, responsibility for planning, delivery, and evaluation of professional programs in terms of operational outcomes, continuing professional development, induction, and skills training for juniors and trainees.
The Solution
To support these educational activities, we built a local team of six full-time consultants working in a hybrid model of 70% on-site and 30% remote. These individuals included three Medical Educational Project Managers and three Medical Educational Specialists. They provide support within immunology, hematology, and oncology. In addition, our internal Oxford team handled such tasks as management oversight, program controls, workforce management, and support services. Responsibilities included but were not limited to :
- Implementation and follow-up of high-quality medical projects
- Support and coordinate strategic medical educational activities
- Develop qualitative and quantitative reports
- Ensure compliance
The Result
We built a dedicated, stable, co-managed team for the client. We regularly meet with the senior consultant on the project to ensure any possible issues are handled immediately. As an additional layer of oversight, monthly meetings with the client were held to provide an overview of the project’s current status, the team’s accomplishments, the mitigation of identified risks, and future planning.
