The Challenge
A technical leader in cell culture, microbial fermentation, and cell and gene therapy acquired a cell therapy manufacturing facility in California, allowing them to expand their cell therapy portfolio and provide readily expandable capacity to manufacture clinical and commercial cell therapies. However, they needed additional technical support to lift and shift the IT infrastructure by the exit timeline. If they could not meet the expected deadlines, they would have to pay five times the amount to their acquired company to use their systems.
The Solution
Because of this client’s previous positive experiences with us, they reached out to Oxford Global Resources to provide the right talent to support the divestiture. We provided nine experts to create a project team to support the infrastructure shift. We developed an integrated IT TSA exit plan across 25 TSA exit agreements, optimizing for cost, resources, and future-state organization objectives while adhering to all quality compliance measures. All objectives would be completed with minimal disruption to business operations.
The Result
We were given a seven-month window to complete the divestiture activities, and our IT team completed the transition and closure of the final TSA on time. The client retained individuals to support day-to-day functions on an ongoing basis, develop the site capabilities, and onboard additional clients.
