Q: What is your professional background?
A: I served in the U.S. Army National Guard while receiving my bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Q: How long have you been with Oxford?
A: Almost two years
Q: What daily habits do you recommend for success?
A: I believe that taking care of critical tasks right away in the morning, staying organized, being accountable, and asking good questions all contribute to success!
Q: What would you say contributes most to your success at Oxford?
A: My commitment to my clients, their timelines, and their deliverables. I also have strong leadership in the Madison office that have been key in mentoring and guiding me during my career here.
Q: What is one of your greatest achievements to date?
A: Six years of honorable service in the U.S. Army Infantry.
Q: What attributes do you think are most important in a leader?
A: Leading from the front and inspiring the team.
Q: What skills will be most in demand in 2023?
A: Cell therapy, gene therapy, and bioinformatics will continue to see growth in demand. Regulatory affairs driven by EU MDR compliance, chemistry manufacturing and controls, and medical writing will also continue to be high in demand.
Q: What are the top trends impacting your industry that you see?
A: There will be an increased focus on risk related to medical devices. There will also be a push for better clinical trials with more remote options, and increased use of machine learning/AI to narrow down products moving to these trials.
Q: How do you define customer care?
A: Active listening and problem solving, along with considering what the market is dictating so that I can be a great partner for all parties.
Q: What do you like best about working with your clients or team?
A: For clients, I love making an impact on projects for novel drugs that impact peoples’ lives.
