Global HRIS System Guidance

The Challenge
A major manufacturer of architectural products and window coverings had been acquired by another organization. Our client is an umbrella company with 85 smaller entities, and their HRIS and payroll systems were completely decentralized. Because of this, the goal was to get the entire payroll and HRIS system centralized across 25 countries over three years. However, the client did not have a standardized approach to this project, and without external support, the ecosystem likely would’ve collapsed. They reached out to Oxford due to our global reach and ability to support such a large-scale project.

The Solution
We provided a Payroll IT Project Manager and a Payroll Functional Project Manager to guide the client. Ultimately, they wanted robust controls, reporting, and documentation of processes, including:

  • One point of contact for payroll
  • One software in place for payroll
  • Integration opportunities
  • Software upgrades managed
  • Visibility of invoice costs
Our consultants contacted each entity to establish relationships and drive a plan forward with the selected payroll provider, ADP.
The Result
Because of our support, the client was able to identify gaps in knowledge and communication between the multiple entities on their payroll and the potential HR solutions and processes available to them. The client selected the system that would suit the needs of their various entities.
